Recipe of the Month
Microwave Teriyaki Sauce
Use this delicious sauce as a marinade for chicken or steak. If using it as a marinade for steak you might not want to thicken it.
1/2 c Watkins Meat magic
1/8 c. packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp. Watkins Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp. Watkins Ginger
1 TBSP. lemon juice
Mix all ingred. together and microwave on high for 2 min.
Remove and add 2 rounded tsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/8 c. water. Stir well. Microwave on high, stirring at 20 second intervals until thickened and clear. If grilling, spoon over meat/chicken about 3-5 minutes before it is to be served. If baking in oven, marinate before baking and baste during cooking time. This sauce is also delicious drizzled over rice.
